IDENTITY CRISIS: THE GREAT KITTEN INVASION

FREEdom Tails Ohio is, by name and by heart, a dog rescue. We are accustomed to the sound of paws on the pavement and the joyful bark of a hound. But this July, our mission took an unexpected, tiny, and very high-pitched turn.

Due to urgent community needs that simply could not wait, we opened our doors to two mother cats and 19 kittens. This includes 7 tiny orphans who needed immediate care and another courageous mama nursing her six little ones. We keep telling ourselves we are "pretending" to be a kitten rescue, but the reality is our nursery is full.
