Adopt Angelica
Adopt Angelica
Moyen Goldendoodle
Female
8yrs old
No fence required
Angelica is a former breeding mama and ready for some “Me Time.” She loves to be loved, insists on it. She wants to be with her person, especially if it happens to be on a super comfy, king-sized bed. She is a polite companion who is housebroken and does not get into things. Angelica does well on a leash, crate-trained (though would likely do quite well without a crate), and good with dogs, cats, and children. Her fur is very silky and easily maintained, but will require occasional grooming.
To adopt this perfect girl, please submit application and the $20 application fee

Adopt Milo
Adopt Milo!
Age: 11 weeks
Weight: 7 lbs
Breed: Shih tzu
Sex: Male
Color: Chocolate
Fence Required: No
Please note medical condition.
Milo has a dermoid on his eye and surgery is curative and should be done at time of neuter in 1-2 months. If adopted locally he will need to return to our vet for this to be done and is included in the adoption fee.
Milo is the happiest, sweetest and silliest little guy you could ever hope for in a small package! He is quickly learning the routines of our house and often follows the cues from our resident dog, a 60 lbs newfoundland/cattle dog mix. He loves following her around the house and is hopeful that one day she will change her mind and finally play with him! Milo respects her space well and loves to check her food bowl for any leftovers! He would certainly love to have another dog to pal around with, but he would also be fine as the only dog in a home so long as he gets a lot of cuddles and love from his humans!
Regarding house training, Milo is doing great as long as there are frequent potty breaks (small bladder for this small guy!). We think he's doing quite well during the night - he sleeps in our bedroom in a crate with space for his bed and a pee pad and almost never needs the pee pad. He will stay quiet and sleep for 5-6 hour stretches (sometimes longer) every night. He will go for very short walks, but he does better when he can walk alongside our resident dog. We have a pen in our main living space for him to rest and take breaks throughout the day, and he enjoys having this enclosure because he can still see and be part of the action!
Because he's absolutely and totally adorable, Milo grabs the attention wherever he is. He is respectful and gentle with everyone he meets and usually includes a fast, wagging tail upon their approach! He does very well with children and would be quite happy to have a home with kids or regular kid visitors (ours are 9 and 11 years old). Like most puppies, he loves chewing, so having toys strewn about the room for him has been helpful!
Milo has been an absolute joy and hysterical source of entertainment for us! He can't wait to meet his forever family!

Adopt Peggy
Adopt Peggy
Mini goldendoodle
Female
6 yrs
Fence not required
Peggy is the sweetest, most docile cuddle buddy ever. She can be shy, often letting her sister take the lead, but she adores her people, following at their heels, waiting eagerly for the next cuddle, the next pet. While she will get into play with her sister, she is a very chill dog. She can be a bit of a thief, stealing stray socks or abandoned toys, she does well when given redirection to dog toys and chews.
Eliza will require regular grooming, but her fur also makes the Mohawk. It’s so fun to play with her hair, like a little troll doll. She does not really like to walk on a leash, but could perhaps learn. She is still working on potty training but does well when kept on a schedule. She is fine in her crate when we must be away or at night, though she prefers to cuddle in your bed with you. She is good with other dogs, cats, and older kids. She is very close to her sister, Eliza, and they enjoy cuddling close. Please considering adopting them together. And for the perfect Hamilton-themed trifecta of a dog pack, you an also adopt Angelica (who may be their mother?). To apply, submit your application and $20 application fee

Adopt Bennie
Adopt Bennie! 🩷
Age: 3 years
Breed: Havanese
Sex: female
Fenced in yard required
Bennie is an adorable 10-pound sweetheart with the most soulful eyes. She has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident every day.
Bennie is still a shy, timid little girl who can be nervous in new situations, so she’ll need a patient family willing to let her adjust at her own pace. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and doing great with potty training.
She walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion. A securely fenced yard is preferred to help her safely continue building confidence.
Bennie loves soft beds, quiet cuddle time, and simply being near her people once she feels safe. If you’re willing to give this special little girl the time she needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion who will blossom right before your eyes. ❤️

Adopt Finnley
Adopt Finn
10-12 week old
Male 6lbs mini bernadoodle
Fence not required
He is 💯 an absolutely darling
He is equal parts playful, inquisitive, and snuggly and is full of puppy energy. He makes his foster mom laugh every day. He loves people and other dogs although his exposure has been restricted until fully vaccinated.
He is working on potty training and doing very well! We are also working on curbing his puppy biting phase. Has not been on leash much yet. He is the sweetest little floof and will melt the hearts of everyone he meets.
FINNLEY has mild Valvular pulmonary stenosis.
He saw a cardiologist and had an echocardiogram completed.
Finn has been diagnosed with mild pulmonary valve stenosis (PS). This is a congenital disease (present from birth) affecting the
pulmonary valve. This valve separates the right ventricle (bottom right chamber) from the large vessel leading to the lungs (main pulmonary artery) and is responsible for preventing the back-flow of blood between these two structures. With the most common form
of pulmonary valve stenosis, valvular malformation causes fusion of the valve leaflets, which does not allow them to open readily. This change causes the opening between the right ventricle and the main pulmonary artery to be narrowed, which in turn obstructs the outflow of blood into the lungs. As a consequence, the right ventricle is required to pump harder to force the same volume of blood
through a narrowed orifice. This leads to thickening of the walls of the right ventricle (hypertrophy). As blood rushes past the narrowed orifice and strikes the walls of the pulmonary artery past it, an audible murmur is created.
The long-term prognosis for PS is variable. With mild or mild/moderate disease a normal to near-normal lifespan is common; with high moderate and severe PS the prognosis is more guarded. While some dogs with severe PS will live for years, others die from sudden
death (arrhythmia), right-sided congestive heart failure, poor quality of life due to exercise intolerance and/or fainting, or other cardiac complications.
As of now, Finn has very mild pulmonary valve stenosis; the average pressure gradient is 12 mmHg, with <40 mmHg being
considered mild.
A adopter must be financially able to continue follow ups at a veterinary cardiologist such as Ohio State or med vet. Those follow ups can average $1000 each visit and he may require medications in the future those medications can cost $100 a month. He is not a candidate for surgical intervention.

Adopt Punky
Adopt Punky
Age: 3–4 years
Breed: Havanese
Sex: Female
Weight: 8 pounds
Fence Required: No, but double leash for two weeks
Another dog preferred
Location: Dublin, Ohio
Punky is a pint-sized retired breeding mama with a big personality and friendly disposition. When she first arrived, she was timid and skeptical of people, but in a short time she has made huge strides. Now her tail is always wagging but she's still learning to trust. She'll summon her human to the room but then likes to play hard to get. She has the cutest little hand gestures when she’s really excited, and at baseline she always looks like she’s smiling yet judging you😁. She’s a happy girl and her tail is always wagging. She enjoys attention, relaxes when being held, and likes head scratches. This happy, spunky little girl has recently found her voice as her new favorite activity is to sit in her window bed and greet all the neighbors while mom is at work. Otherwise she’s a quiet companion when her person is home.
Punky is a confident one, happily showing her foster sister the ropes while continuing to build trust with people every day. Potty training and leash walking are works in progress. She’s low energy but prefers to be held on walks. She does get motion sickness in the car. She’d likely enjoy another friendly dog as her tail wags whenever we pass dogs on walks, but she may also do well as an only pup if her people are present much of the day. She’s a cutie patootie who will add so much happiness to the lives of those lucky enough to adopt her!

Adopt Jelly
Adopt Jelly
7-8 month old kitten
Good with other cats, dogs, and older children
Jelly is a beautiful kitten searching for her perfect forever home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and FIV negative. Jelly is a quiet, timid girl who would thrive in a calm and patient home where she can gain confidence at her own pace. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and gentle personality truly shines.
She enjoys cozy naps tucked under the covers, stretching out in sunny spots, relaxing in a tall cat tree, and staying close to her people. When she’s ready, Jelly will come to you for pets or quietly keep you company nearby.
Jelly does well with other cats, has been around older children, and would likely do best in a quieter household. She does not seem to mind dogs, though she would prefer calmer pups who respect her space. She can be adopted with her sibling, Peanut Butter, but it is not required.

🏡 Good News: A fenced yard is NOT required for these boys! Because they rely so much on their noses and leashes, a dedicated family committed to structured, leashed walks and routine is exactly what they need.
They truly thrive side-by-side and are ready for a family who will give them the time, guidance, and affection they deserve.

Adopt Ivy
Adopt Ivy
5 year old
female Maltese
9.8 pounds of fluff.
small fence needed
Located in Canton
Ivy is completely vetted. Ivy is a shy, very sweet girl who loves other pups of all sizes . She enjoys being held, yet also will dash around rather than being picked up. She likes to be in the same room as her foster mom. Ivy is potty trained on cloth pads in the house, and outside on a large deck. She is skeptical about going potty in the grass. Ivy does not walk on a leash. She sleeps quietly at night and when her foster mom is not home in a large pen in the house with the other pups. Ivy is special in many ways. She had a dental when spayed and her teeth were removed due to severe dental disease. She eats soft food with small kibble. Ivy loves small, chewable treats as well. She loves soft blankets or a doggie bed to sleep on, which she has made a nest from to sleep in. Ivy would do best with children over 8 due to her tiny size.

Adopt Mia
Adopt Mia!
Mia
Shih Tzu
9 years, F, 16 pounds
Fostered in Columbus
Mia is loyal and patient (just not when it comes to snacks). She is still learning to walk on a leash so a fenced yard is desired. She is doing great with house training and has very few accidents. She would thrive in a quiet house with a low energy family. She is very laid back and gets along with other older dogs and kids. She cannot go up stairs, so she needs a single story home. She does have chronic dry eye and requires eye medicine twice a day. Mia loves her people and will follow you around like your shadow. She is the sweetest angel!!

Adopt Merely
Adopt Merley
Male
Poodle mix
Approx 4 years
Approx 16 pounds
Fence required
Meet Merley! He’s such a sweet guy but he is extremely shy around humans. He will require a lot of attention and human interaction to get him comfortable. A home where someone is around most of the day and another dog that can teach him how to be a dog would be ideal. He needs a lot of supervision at this point due to marking.
We have him wearing a male wrap while indoors as a measure of caution. He loves other dogs but humans are a bit scary to him. His crate is is safe space but he sleeps great in a bed with other dogs and humans! Merley doesn’t have any aggression issues and loves dragging toys from inside to the outside using the doggie door. We are working on the “sit” command and he’s learning to appreciate treats. He loves being outside but doesn’t walk on a leash at all. He will just lie down in protest. He doesn’t mind being carried around but you may have to catch him first. Merley does just fine with children but needs gentle interaction, patience, and TLC. He will require regular grooming.

Adopt Gianna
Adopt Gianna!
3-4 Years old
Poodle
Female
27 Pounds
Fence preferred
Gianna is a friendly poodle and has yet to meet a pup or person she has not liked...she was a bit hyper focused on the parakeet but has eased up. She is very playful and enjoys toys, running outside and walks very well on the leash. She loves spendingvtime outside and is making good use of the doggie door..hence fence Recommended. She also liked to cuddle with her people and welcomes head scratches and belly rubs.
Gianna is a good eater and not food aggressive. She has not been destructive in the house and is pretty quiet except when letting us know someone has rung the doorbell. 😀 She listens well to commands and is working on pottying outside, accidents are far and few between. Gianna will make an excellent addition to a family looking for an affectionate and moderately active pup.
